Pennone con Ceci e Cipolla


"Pennone con Ceci e Cipolla" or Tiny Penne, called Pennone, with Chickpeas and Onion. This tasty and extremely simple pasta dish comes from "Mia Piccola Cucina's" upcoming cookbook.

The use of Chickpeas in both pureed and whole form along with yellow onion, tomato paste, diced Roma tomatoes and Italian parsley makes for a hearty sauce to coat my house made Pennone.
